Tenure track Assistant Professor Faculty Position in Management
Information Systems
The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor faculty position in Management Information Systems for the 2021-2022 academic year. The expected start date is mid-August 2021. A Ph.D. in MIS or a closely related area such as Data Science, Operations and Information Management is required. Strong evidence of recent research productivity and teaching excellence in any management or economics fields is critical. Candidates who demonstrate teaching and research excellence related to digital transformation, data visualization and artificial intelligence are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities for the position will include conducting research, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and participating in course/curriculum development and other school activities. Applications will be accepted and evaluated until the position is filled. You are encouraged to apply before January 1, 2021.
Applications should include a cover letter, Curriculum Vitae, statement of research interests and direction, statement of teaching interests and philosophy, evidence of research activity (1-2 writing samples or reference to research available online) and teaching performance (include teaching evaluations if available), and three letters of reference.
