The University of Texas at San Antonio seeks an innovative, entrepreneurial, collaborative leader as its next Dean and Bodenstedt Chair of the College of Business.  The campus has developed a bold and ambitious vision for UTSA’s future and its pursuit of excellence as an urban-serving, Hispanic-thriving discovery enterprise (https://www.utsa.edu/strategicplan/).  The Dean will be expected to build on the college’s achievements, while leading the college to higher levels of external engagement, academic excellence and research prominence (https://business.utsa.edu/).

The new dean will join a university on-the-move, leveraging San Antonio’s growing tech corridor and thriving business ecosystem to benefit UTSA’s students in and out of the classroom.  Furthermore, with the new School of Data Sciences downtown and plans for an adjacent Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Careers university  building under development, the new dean will advocate for the intertwined success of UTSA and the city of San Antonio.
