Associate Director of Fitness and Wellness

Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as our Associate Director of Fitness and Wellness. This position is a .96 FTE appointment and is externally funded.  As a member of the WSU Fitness and Wellness department, you will be assisting in the development and administration of comprehensive student-centered fitness and wellness program that incorporates all aspects of the campus fitness facility. Additional responsibilities include operating a comprehensive Strength & Conditioning program for Winona Area Schools students, junior varsity teams and varsity teams as well as manage the WSU student sports club programs. Minimum qualifications for this position are (1) a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Human Performance, or related field; (2) one year of experience in collegiate and/or high school level group fitness and wellness programming, strength & conditioning, personal training and conducting fitness assessments or  two years graduate assistantship experience in a collegiate and/or high school level strength and conditioning/fitness-related setting; and (3) National Strength and Conditionings ‘Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist’ or  USA Weightlifting Club Coach Certification.  For a complete job description and information on applying for this position, please go to https://winona.peopleadmin.com.
