McDaniel College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in the Department of Biology, to begin Fall 2021. 

Duties: To teach four courses each semester, primarily Introductory Biology lectures and lab (each lab section counts as one full course), with the possibility of developing an upper level biology elective(s) in the candidate’s specialized biology sub-field of expertise.  In addition, the candidate will be advising biology majors with respect to course selection and course registration.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in biological sciences required, ABD or Ph.D. preferred.  A strong candidate for this position will have demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, and be an organized, collaborative colleague that works to coordinate with the existing Introductory Biology team.
