Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Office Administrator provides administrative support for the Director and Coordinators of the University Learning Center ( ULC ). Duties include:
Manages all department travel
Produces ULC usage reports, as well as other reports as needed
Coordinates work orders and purchasing (supplies, technology, etc.) for department, as well as surplus
Serves as Leave Keeper for the department
Work coordination (especially with fellow ULC admins as well as of peers).
Data entry (e.g. Supplemental Instruction and study session usage, data corrections, etc.)
Service marketing (e.g. direct contact with departments, creating and distributing flyers, etc.)
Supervises and trains student receptionists, primary reception back-up
Event coordination (e.g. room reservations, food orders, etc.)
Assists with online support services for students (including managing starfish referrals, online submissions, etc.).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency, or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
College degree preferred
Experience in and office-setting preferred
Required Certifications or licensure
$31,200 - $32,050
