Post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Ronald Gartenhaus.
This laboratory studies abnormal post-transcriptional/translational gene regulation, oncogenic signaling cascades, the impact of rewired cellular energy homeostasis on the translational apparatus and how they can be exploited for targeted therapy in Hematologic Malignancies (Dai, Oncogene 2016; Bhalla, Scientific Reports 2018; Kapadia, Nature Comm 2018; Bhalla, Scientific Reports 2020)
The laboratory is in a research building with state-of-the-art facilities including core facilities for confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, transgenic mice, etc.
Interested candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics or cell biology.
Candidates with prior experience in the needed laboratory methods and a clear career goal are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a diverse work environment is required.
Interest/experience in Bioinformatics would be useful.
