MUSC 801 Historical Developments Influencing Music Education
MUSC 820 The Music Educator
MUSC 835 Philosophies of Music Education
MUSC 840 Current Issues in Music Education
MUSC 845 The Role of the College Music Teacher
MUSC 846 The Role of the Music Education Administrator
MUSC 851 Community, Culture and Relationship in Music Education
MUSC 880 Introduction to Thesis Writing Project
MUSC 889 Thesis Project Proposal & Research
MUSC 890 Thesis Project Defense
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or DMA in Music Education
2 years university level teaching experience
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong collaborative skills
Demonstrated ability in directing student research
Preferred Qualifications
PhD or DMA in Music Education
5 years university level teaching experience
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong collaborative skills
