Job Details
Required qualifications include:
• Proven record of programmatic and supervisory experience in student services, including undergraduate academic and personal advising, case management, accessibility and learning support services, and support for students from under-served and under-resourced schools and communities. • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and professional standards in student support and retention. • Solid foundation in student developmental theory and its application to professional practice in higher education and student affairs. • Demonstrated cultural competence, commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse campus population. • Demonstrated ability to utilize academic performance and related data to inform program and service enhancements. • Proven capacity to foster strong and effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, families and campus partners. • Proven record of successful experience responding to individual and campus community issues and crises. • Demonstrated competency in organizing and managing complex projects and monitoring progress toward articulated goals. • Strong supervisory, organizational and strategic planning skills • Exceptional oral and written communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
