Job Description:
The Department of Business Administration at Weber State University is accepting applications for a nine-month tenure-track position in Marketing. Particular consideration will be given to candidates whose qualifications, in addition to those specified below, include scholarship, work experience, and teaching experience in the areas of Digital Marketing, Analytics, and/or CRM. Candidates also must be willing and well qualified to teach Marketing Principles and Practices at the undergraduate level and Marketing Management courses at the MBA level. The position is available at the Assistant Professor level, depending on teaching experience and articles published in scholarly, refereed journals.

The School offers a financial incentive program for research and a teaching load of 9 credit hours per semester for academically qualified faculty. Quality teaching and an active program of peer-reviewed research will be required for successful, future tenure and promotion reviews. The position will begin July 2021.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree in Marketing prior to the date of appointment. However, ABD candidates may also be considered.


Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated ability to teach, conduct peer-reviewed scholarly research, and provide service consistent with the mission of WSU.
