The Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Chemistry at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor to begin fall 2021. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, externally funded research program involving both graduate (MS) and undergraduate students. While the specific field of research is open, areas of interest include material science, polymer or green chemistry. As a Hispanic- and Minority Serving Institution we strongly encourage applications from candidates committed to our educational mission with the Hispanic community. TAMU-CC welcomes faculty applicants who will contribute to this diversity through their research, teaching, and service. We encourage applications from women, members of minority groups, protected veterans, individuals with disabilities, or other underrepresented groups who could contribute new perspectives to the department.

The Chemistry Program is part of the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS). It offers both undergraduate and graduate (MS) degrees in chemistry. PENS is also home to programs in Atmospheric Science (BS), Coastal and Marine System Science (MS, PhD), Environmental Science (BS, MS), Geology (BS), and Physics (BS).

Required Qualifications:
