The St. Ambrose University Department of Communication and Digital Media seeks a Lecturer, to fill a new position beginning August 1, 2021. Candidates should be prepared to teach courses in public relations and journalism, particularly media writing, communication law, and communication campaigns.  Candidates will also teach general education courses, as needed.  Special consideration will be given to applicants with professional public relations experience and interests in social media and media production. Our website (http://www.sau.edu/communication/) also provides a wealth of information concerning our department and its media outlets (24-hour cable TV station, 24-hour FM radio station, and university newspaper).  


Minimum qualifications include a master’s in communication or closely related field and documented excellence in teaching.
