Position Summary:

Works as a Testing Site Supervisor to support the personnel and operations of multiple COVID-19 testing sites on campus. The Testing Site Supervisor will communicate with Testing Site Leads and Testing Technicians to ensure updates and operational changes have been implemented. Is responsible for staffing at assigned sites, including notification of unplanned absences. Supports the work of Testing Site Leads and works collaboratively with other Testing Site Supervisors. Reports to the Testing Manager.

Testing hours will be between 6am and 6pm with an every other or every third weekend rotation
Shifts may be four or eight hours in length.
A minimum of 24 hours/ week is required.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Associate's Degree required for licensed RNs, Bachelors preferred.
Bachelors Degree required for licensed APP, PT, OT and Pharm.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required
Experience or demonstrated ability to oversee the work of others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience or demonstrated ability to hold others accountable to expectations
Professionalism and accountability
Knowledge of infection control and disease transmission principles
Proficient in the use of a laptop, Chromebook or iPad
Customer service experience
Able to tolerate wearing PPE for several hours

License or Certificate:

Licensed in the state of WI as an RN, APP, PT, OT, Pharm

Additional Information:

Successful candidates will complete a mandatory virtual Human Resources orientation in late November or December, with dates to be provided to selected candidates. Mandatory position training will be scheduled in January and will be a mix of virtual and onsite training. In general, training will be scheduled between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. There is not a guaranteed schedule. Scheduled hours each week will be variable based on operational needs. During peak times, all staff will be expected to work a minimum of 24 hours each week.
