The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position. Our Department offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study with concentrations in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Instructional Technology. AUM seeks an Adjunct Instructor capable of teaching foundations of education and/or methods of teaching.

Experience teaching online as well as traditional classroom courses is required. Ability to conduct face-to-face field experiences with teacher candidates during normal P-12 school hours is required. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education is required. All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning, and committed to effective use of technology. In order to teach online, the Adjunct Instructor will be required to complete AUM’s Blackboard training and be certified to teach online.
