Postdoc IMCI Mathematical Modeling

Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $52,704 or higher depending on education and experience

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Position Summary:
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the Institute for Modeling Collaboration and Innovation (IMCI) Modeling Core. They will participate on research funded by COBRE grant number P20-GM104420. This includes participation on Research Project Grants, Modeling Access Grants, or Pilot Grants funded under this mechanism.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Ph.D. by the time of appointment in mathematics or a related discipline
• Experience with mathematical modeling demonstrated by publications in the field
• Experience applying differential equations in research
• Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills
• Applicants who are selected as final possible candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working on biomedical problems
• Strong computer programming skills
• Strong statistical skills
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
