The Ivey Business School at Western University, London, Ontario seeks two candidates for a Probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, or Tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the area of Management Science area, which includes Data Science and Business Analytics. The successful candidates will have a PhD in Management, Business or a related discipline. The positions are available to begin in July 2021, although alternate start dates may be arranged.

The successful candidates will be expected to teach management science subjects (including business analytics, management statistics and data science) in our student-centered, case-based undergraduate, MBA, or EMBA programs, or in the MSc or PhD programs. In addition to teaching, the successful candidates will also contribute to and complement the school’s extensive research on Management Science and Business Analytics, specifically, with regard to Revenue Management, Health Care, Supply Chain Management, and Optimization. 

Tenured Appointment: Applicants for a tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor will hold a PhD. The ideal candidate will have published in the highest quality academic outlets and is a recognized expert in his or her field of research. Preference will be given to candidates who provide evidence of strong teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervision of graduate students.

Probationary (Tenure-Track) Appointment: Applicants for a probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor must have completed a PhD. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and the ability to publish in high quality academic outlets. They should also have the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
