The School of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutics is pleased to announce a postdoctoral fellowship opportunity. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and participating in research projects in the areas of immunotherapy of cancers (including melanoma, glioma, and breast cancer), nucleic acid immunotheranostics, and COVID -19 vaccine development. The duration of this position will be between six to eight months.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have received a PhD degree or equivalent within the past five years in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, bioengineering, medical sciences and/or related fields.
-Previous research experience in one or multiple areas of nucleic acid
theranostics, immunotherapy, drug delivery, cancer or infectious diseases
-Excellent writing skills required, as evidenced by publications or grant‐writing experience
-Experience working with research animals
-Must possess strong self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and open communication

Preferred Qualifications

-Previous publications in the areas of nucleic acid theranostics, immunotherapy, drug delivery, cancer or infectious diseases
