Position Summary
The Department of Engineering Education ( DEE ), in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences invites candidates to apply for the position of Postdoctoral Associate.
A successful candidate for this position requires qualitative research knowledge, excellent writing skills, taking initiative, proven experience collaborating across disciplines, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
This post-doc position will be focused on undergraduate engineering education, specifically improving learning in core technical (engineering science) courses through faculty development and examining undergraduate learning.
• This will include working with a team of teaching faculty and educational researchers writing homework problems,
• Analyzing collected data
• Creating faculty and graduate student professional development
• Developing grant proposals under the direction of Dr. Jessica Swenson.
Dr. Swenson collaborates with Graduate School of Education Faculty, K-12 school administrators, Engineering Teaching Faculty, and other engineering education researchers that open many opportunities for collaboration and new project ideas.
This position is one year in duration. Required application materials include cover letter, CV, research statement (2 pages maximum), and a list of three references.
