WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY, Construction Management Program. The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 15, 2021. The construction management program is ATMAE accredited, baccalaureate-only. The candidate is expected to have experience in residential and commercial construction. The responsibilities of this position include high quality teaching, student advising, engagement in research and dissemination of research results through publication. The candidate should also be able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and laboratories in at least three of the following areas with the capacity to grow in two other areas: Construction Methods and Materials, Estimating, Administration, Scheduling, Project Management, Contract Documents, Quality management, Capstone Projects, Equipment and Materials, Building Codes, Soil Mechanics, Infra-structure Construction, Building Structures, Construction Technology Lab, BIM, MEP Systems, Sustainable Construction, lean construction, electrical systems, Building detailing.
