Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program (Ruskin, FL)

Gannon University’s Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences invites applications for a new faculty member in the role of Capstone Coordinator in the entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program. The appointment for this twelve-month, tenure or teaching track position begins January 2021. Experience in research, and supervising doctoral student activities, including the doctoral experiential component and capstone projects is required. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners, support an interprofessional learning environment, advise students, and participate in service activities to support the University, community, and profession.

Qualified candidates are required to have an earned doctoral degree (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D., D.H.S., D.Sc., O.T.D.) granted by an institution accredited by a US Department of Education-recognized regional accrediting body and five-to-seven (5-7) years of clinical experience. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida as an Occupational Therapist is required; NBCOT certification or eligibility for certification is required. Candidates who are able to provide evidence of effective teaching (two years or more) and scholarship in higher education are preferred. Ideally, candidates will have experience using course management systems for purposes of instruction and advising.
