Assistant Professor of Psychology - Tenure Track
LSU Alexandria – Assistant Professor of Psychology – Tenure Track: LSU at Alexandria seeks to fill one undergraduate teaching position which will start in August 2021. The position is open to virtually all specialties in psychology. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach a variety of general psychology courses including Cognitive Psychology. The ideal candidate is willing to teach in multiple course formats (e.g., traditional, hybrid, online).
A doctorate in psychology is required for appointment at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-track); the teaching load is normally 12 hours per semester. An ABD may be considered for a one-year temporary position. LSUA, a part of the regional LSU system, is an undergraduate institution, noted for its emphasis on excellent teaching. The Psychology department offers the BS in Psychology with several concentration options as well as a BGS in Social Sciences.
