The Villanova School of Business invites applications for the Carmen and Sharon Danella Endowed Chair in Business Innovation. Candidates at the Senior Associate or Full professor levels will be considered. The position has a start date of Fall 2021.
Established in 2008, the Carmen and Sharon Danella Endowed Chair supports entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation at the Villanova School of Business, thereby enriching the academic and professional development opportunities available to business students.

Duties and Responsibilities:The successful candidate will have an established record as a prominent scholar or is on pace to achieve that level in strategy, entrepreneurship, or a related field. Working within the Department of Management and Operations, the Danella Chair is expected to raise the visibility of the Villanova School of Business, provide pedagogical leadership at all levels, and maintain an active leadership presence within Villanova University and the broader scholarly community.
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Management Science or field related to Innovation Processes.
Preferred Qualifications:Applicants should have an outstanding research and service record, demonstrate a continuing commitment to produce high level research in the field, significant involvement and impactful leadership in the profession. Successful applicants will be skilled teachers and will be collegial in all respects. Demonstrated effective teaching of strategic management, especially centered on innovation and entrepreneurial action is highly valued.
