Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

The candidate will be hired to teach research methods and statistics and will teach 6-8 undergraduate Research Methods and Psychological Statistics courses per academic year (with a possibility of teaching additional courses during the summer, if desired, and the potential for teaching graduate courses if candidate meets the qualifications to do so).

Educational Requirements for the Position

Candidates must at least have a Master’s degree in Psychology, although a preference will be given for candidates with a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university prior to the start date. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree conferred by the start date of the position.

Experience Required for the Position

Ideal candidates will also have teaching experience in psychology courses focused on statistics and research methods.

Other Requirements for the Position

Mentor undergraduate students, as appropriate. Help to establish an online presence, as necessary. May participate in service and collaborate in research across department, college, and university levels.
