Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

The Research Assistant provides integral support in the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center. The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting with innovative studies in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Key responsibilities will include recruiting study participants, scheduling and coordinating research study visits, documenting clinical assessments, record keeping, and assisting with regulatory documentation. In this position, the research assistant will also involved in the acquisition and analysis of study measures including MRI, EEG and electrophysiology data.

Minimum Hiring Standards

High school diploma or equivalency.
Experience with research.
Interest and willingness to learn is highly preferred.
Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
Data entry experience, including use of web-based databases.

Preferred Hiring Standards

1-2 years’ experience in research. Preference for experience with human subjects research.
CNA /MA or other clinical licensure.
