McPherson College (KS) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Sport Science beginning August 2021. A doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Pedagogy (Physical Education specialist), or a related field is preferred. Candidates nearing completion of a doctorate or those with a Master’s degree with higher education teaching experience may also be considered.

The position includes possible teaching responsibilities in health, anatomy, physiology, motor behavior, pedagogy, first aid/CPR training, care and treatment of athletic injuries, and coaching, or other courses in the field that may play to the successful candidate’s strengths.

The right candidate will demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence, the ability to function collegially in a small college environment, and a commitment to the liberal arts.
