Assistant Professor of Nursing
Milligan University in Northeast Tennessee invites applications for a full-time tenure track professor position in Nursing at the assistant professor level, to begin fall 2021. Primary responsibilities include classroom teaching, clinical supervision, and mentoring of BSN students caring for adult patient populations experiencing acute and chronic illness. Student advising and active service on campus-wide and Area of Nursing committees is also expected.
The candidate must have a minimum of Master of Science in Nursing. Preference will be given to applicants with a terminal degree (applicants with candidate status will be considered). Only applicants with a recent and strong clinical background in medical/surgical and or critical care nursing will be considered. Classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate nursing is required.
An interest in integrating faith and learning in a liberal arts environment is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, commitment to the University mission, and a lifestyle consistent with the University's goals.
