The Department of Social Work at the University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer.  Duties of the position include directing field internships, teaching five courses each semester, student advisement responsibilities, and serving on relevant committees. Candidate must be able to teach across the BSW/MSW curriculum. This candidate will also serve as liaison between the Department of Social Work and the community, maintaining office hours in accordance with University policy, and performing other duties as assigned by the Department Chair. Applicants should have a high commitment to effective classroom teaching, student advising and mentoring, curriculum development, and professional activity.  The position requires a strong commitment to field education. Prior experience working with community agencies in a student supervisory capacity is desired.  Previous supervisory experience in a community social work agency is also highly valued.

MSW from a CSWE accredited social work program (required), and minimum two years post MSW social work practice experience in a social services setting.
