Job Summary
Coordinates and/or directs all aspects of academic related programs and services for the National Center for Additive Manufacturing Excellence ( NCAME ). Plans, designs, develops, executes, and/or manages strategies and programs for academic related programs/groups/services.
Essential Functions
Assists the NCAME Director and Associate Directors with a variety of high-level administrative/professional program support responsibilities.
Coordinates program/services activities to ensure relevant guidelines, specifications, policy and/or procedures are enforced and followed.
Provides information to and facilitates communication among administrators, faculty, staff, sponsors, and students concerning program/services.
Maintains relevant databases to ensure accurate and accessible records.
May assist in coordinating and organizing workshop/symposia/short courses to include activities such as registration, room scheduling, and ensuring appropriate equipment is available.
Monitors budget and grant funding and ensures expenditures are within specifications and in line with spending projections; may research, write, proof read, submit, and/or administer grants and proposals for submission.
Prepares, reviews, and edits an assortment of communications through various media outlets. Maintains the Center website and keeps it up-to-date.
Plans and implements the management of resource development activities.

Minimum Skills and Abilities
Candidate must have the ability to organize, prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks. Having interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of financial management, the ability to successfully work both independently and in a team environment, and proficiency in Excel are critical. Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with others in administrative offices across campus.
