The Department of Physical Therapy is looking to hire a Physical Therapist with expertise in neurologic physical therapy for PHTY 640 Neurological Physical Therapy during the Spring semester 2021. Responsibilities include: Assisting with teaching neurologic techniques and administering practical tests in the primary neurologic course in the entry-level doctor of physical therapy program.

Required Qualifications

*Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

*Current Virginia Physical Therapy License

Preferred Qualifications

*Board Certified Specialist in Neurologic PT

*Teaching experience and clinical experience practicing neurologic physical therapy

*Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

*Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
