The Department of Occupational Therapy is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach OCCT 615 Level I Fieldwork – Pediatrics during the Spring 2021 semester. This course will be taught fully online, using video simulations, case studies, and virtual client interaction. Responsibilities include: providing opportunities and giving feedback to develop students use of the occupational therapy process (particularly observation skills, beginning evaluation and intervention planning), co-facilitating virtual sessions, reviewing and grading protocols, and completing fieldwork I forms.

Required Qualifications

*Master’s degree

*Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist in Virginia

*Practice and fieldwork educator experience in occupational therapy evaluation and intervention in pediatrics

Preferred Qualifications

*Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

*Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
