The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a non-tenured full-time faculty position to teach courses within its Information Systems and Quantitative Finance programs. Courses in these programs include fundamentals of computer science, data management, programming, applied analytics, as well as machine learning. We seek an individual with excellent academic credentials who will be able to identify developments within information systems and data analytics and teach existing as well as new courses. Professional Experience in the area is a plus.

Successful candidates will possess an advanced degree, with an earned doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline, and experience teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level. Special consideration will be given to individuals with experience in programming, data analytics, and algorithm development. The individual chosen for this position should possess the background and experience necessary to teach a variety of courses in the curriculum, and a record of publishing and research. The rank of the position will be dependent upon experience and qualifications.

The BS in Quantitative Finance is the largest undergraduate program in the School of Business and combines computer science, math, technology, and finance subjects. The successful candidate will be expected to play a full role in curricular development, student advisement and the programs’ robust series of public events besides the primary role of teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses.
