The Biology Department at Loyola University Maryland seeks a
teacher-administrator to fill the position of Director of Program
Operations in Forensic Pattern Analysis, beginning in March 2021. A
new Master's of Science degree in Forensic Pattern Analysis will
begin in the fall of 2021. The program compliments the growing BA
in Forensic Studies program offered by the Biology Department.
Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to develop and teach
new graduate courses in content areas specific to forensic pattern
evidence, lead the development and implementation of the program,
serve as an academic advisor to graduate students, and work in
cooperation with the graduate director and offices on campus to
spearhead recruiting efforts, and to develop approaches for
advising and assessment of the program. Teaching may include
Forensic Pattern Evidence, Mock Trial for Forensic Pattern
Evidence, Advanced Topics and Techniques in Fingerprints, and a
capstone course. Candidates must have a M.S. in forensic science or
related field with experience and training in forensic science.
