Texas Lutheran University, located in Seguin, Texas, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Sociology beginning Fall 2021. We seek candidates with the following qualifications: 

 

  • PhD in Sociology. ABD candidates considered if degree will be completed by Fall 2021

 

  • Concentrations in ethnic/minority relations, family, and/or civic engagement

 

  • Interest in continuing the development of and leading the African-American Studies program and advising the Black Student Union

 

  • Ability to teach quantitative methods

 

  • Commitment to undergraduate education and advising

 

  • Understanding and support of the mission of Texas Lutheran University
