Job Summary

Paramedic Lab Clinicians are responsible for assisting with the instructional needs of EMS course laboratory sessions. This position will assist with:
1. Psychomotor instruction- Lab Clinicians are responsible for assessing, reviewing and correcting student performance within the psychomotor domain in small group settings.
2. Equipment maintenance- Lab Clinicians are required to be responsible stewards of JCCC and program equipment and facilities.

Required Qualifications

Kansas PARAMEDIC or higher licensure. Candidate must attach PDF of current Paramedic license when applying for consideration.
Associate degree with 1 year full-time EMS experience or 2,700 hours of part-time experience --- OR - 5 years of full-time EMS experience or equivalent part-time experience (13,500 hours)
Working knowledge of EMS equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Current or recent experience in transporting EMS work (emergency ambulance operations and related patient-care experience)
Bachelor's degree or higher.
AHA CPR, PALS, ACLS or PHTLS Instructor- current certification
Kansas Instructor Coordinator (I/C) certification- attach PDF of card if currently certified
5 years of full-time EMS experience or equivalent part-time (13,500 hours)
Current or recent experience in transporting 911 based EMS work (emergency ambulance operations and related patient-care experience)
