Job Summary
JCCC is searching to fill our open Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS positions. The Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs,
and clinical instruction of adult college students and/or high school students for EMR
and/or EMT ( EMS121, 128, 131,133 and 140) initial courses of instruction.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree
Kansas EMT certification
2 years of full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Kansas AEMT, Paramedic, or RN licensure
Bachelor's degree or higher. (**Required for all section 133 and higher)
Kansas EMS I/C certification. BCLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PHTLS Instructor
Experience in EMS initial education
Knowledge of instructional methods and teaching experience to deliver content, skills instruction and remediation
5 years of full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience)
