Seeking a part-time interventionist for a behavioral clinical trial. Under the supervision of trial PI and Co-I (Drs. Jessica LaRose and Autumn Lanoye), this individual will be responsible for delivering a lifestyle intervention to emerging adults, 18-25 years of age. The intervention delivery will consist of a single virtual group session, followed by an e-Health program and coaching. All intervention contact will be remote. Training and supervision in the protocol are provided by the PI and Co-I. The interventionist will be expected to deliver treatment according to the research protocol, review participant diaries, and goal progress, provide weekly feedback and/or coaching to participants, respond to participant questions and concerns, perform routine monitoring of participant engagement, and initiate protocols to enhance engagement, and attend regular team supervision meetings. The position is hourly, with an average of 6-8 hours/week anticipated.

Required Qualifications

- Previous clinical training and experience working with patients to promote behavior change
- Experience working with diverse research participants and/or patients required
- Experience delivering the intervention in a research or clinical setting required
- Experience delivering lifestyle interventions or behavioral weight management
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to establish rapport with participants
- Must possess strong critical thinking skills, complex problem-solving skills, and outstanding attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively in a diverse team setting
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to adhere to the evidence-based intervention protocol
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, social sciences, public health or related field required
- Display the ability to make decisions and complete tasks independently

Preferred Qualifications

- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, public health, or related field preferred
- Previous experience delivering treatment as part of a research protocol
- Experience working with IRB and human subjects documentation preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and state regulations and ethical guidelines related to human subjects research in a biomedical setting
