Alfred University's AACSB Accredited College of Business invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Management, Business Analytics or Information Systems to begin in the Fall of 2021. The ideal applicant will have a terminal degree in their discipline, but those with a Master's Degree with significant and relevant experience are encouraged to apply. College-level teaching experience is preferred. The usual teaching load is 9 credits per academic semester, with in-person and online instruction. Faculty can optionally teach online classes during winter and summer terms, providing additional compensation. We have a very collegial faculty with diverse experience, and the successful candidate's teaching assignments and level (undergraduate/ MBA) will be based on how their experience and interests complements the other faculty. We are student-focused, and our priorities are teaching first, research second and service third

We have a vibrant undergraduate business program which maintains a business administration/ management focus while offering majors/ minors in various business disciplines in addition to our growing MBA program. Majors include Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Health Planning & Management and Marketing. In addition to minors in those disciplines, we offer minors In Arts Management, Equine Business Management, Family Business & Entrepreneurship, Sports Management, Economics, International Business, and Leadership
