Our ongoing mission is to educate artists and creative professionals to be responsible contributors to society. Pratt is searching for aDirector of Admissions Events, Operations and Diversity Recruitment who will ensure Pratt attracts and retains talented students from diverse backgrounds and helps oversee Pratt's admissions operations budget. If you can plan and deliver high quality admissions events and have a commitment to diversity, have experience handling a multi-million-dollar budget and implementing targeted marketing communications, then we want to hear from you!
Key Essential Duties include the following:
- Responsible for planning, marketing and execution of Pratt's
admissions recruitment events on and off- campus, both in person
and virtually.
- Required to participate with academic departments in a number
of committees and community forums to assist in the planning of
admissions and portfolio events.
- Manage admissions budget and expenses in conjunction with the
AVP for Enrollment.
- Related duties, as necessary.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred in related field.
Experience: Five years of experience in admissions events planning, preferably at an art school. Experience in management, decision-making, and team development. Must have experience working with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Required Skills: - Demonstrated ability of your organizational skills
- Three years of experience managing a multi-million-dollar
budget.
- Five years of experience in developing and executing data
driven integrated marketing communications.
- Experience with email marketing software, document management
software, student management software and Adobe
Photoshop.
- Experience utilizing Ellucian's Colleague, DocuWare, and
Crystal Reports preferred.
