Assistant Professor of Information Security and Assurance

Department of Information Systems and Security

 

The Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Information Security and Assurance faculty position in the Department of Information Systems and Security that begins August 2021. The department strongly encourages diverse candidates.

 

Responsibilities for this position include teaching courses at the undergraduate level in Information security and Assurance (e.g., security script programming, client and server systems security, network security etc.), research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University as required.

 

Responsibilities will include a 3/3 teaching load, scholarship, and service in the area of Information Security and Assurance. The load can be reduced based on research publications productivity.

 

An earned doctorate, or its foreign equivalent, in Information Security, Information Systems or closely related area is required.

 

Applicants with an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited college/school and a record of research accomplishments, teaching experience, and collegiality will be given preference.
