Job Summary
Henderson Library. The Overnight Shift Supervisor provides efficient, consistent, and courteous service to library customers at the Checkout Desk. This position is scheduled from Sunday-Thursday, rotating between the following shifts:
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Summer
  • 3 PM - Midnight Summer
  • 11:30 PM - 8:30 AM Regular semester or
  • 11:00 PM - 8:00 am Regular semester

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Hire, train and supervise three or more Access Services staff and student assistants
  • Secure Henderson Library by opening and closing the facility and following emergency procedures
  • Provide administrative assistance to visitors by managing the checkout desk
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Department Head by creating a weekly checkout desk schedule and assisting in all departmental projects
  • Maintain routine cash accountability for the department
  • Assist library users with computer equipment, photocopiers, audiovisuals, and other library equipment
  • Load and unload material in ARC and audits ARC bins and maintains inventory for library collection



Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma and equivalent

Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$28,100 - $31,100
