About the Opportunity:
The Northeastern University School Health Academy (NEUSHA) is seeking a part-time (16 hours weekly) administrative assistant to support administrative operations of the Academy. This is an externally-funded, nonbenefits-eligible position for two years and may be subject to renewal. NEUSHA is located within Northeastern University School of Nursing and provides innovative online and face-to-face educational activities and programs to nurses and their colleagues working in a variety of settings.

The primary work location for this position is the Boston, MA Northeastern University Campus Location. Until our full return to campus, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process will be conducted remotely- including virtual interviews, remote onboarding, and remote work. The remote nature of this position is subject to change in the future and is only temporary. Local, on-campus work will be required once the College and this role return to an operational status that supports it.

Responsibilities:
The part-time administrative assistant reports directly to the Co-Directors of NEUSHA with primary responsibilities to include: Assist with collaborative work with Bouve College Interprofessional Education (IPE) programming, including investigating/reporting process for applying for Continuing Medication Education (CME) accreditation. Assist with NEUSHA marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Constant Contact, etc.) to promote programming. Assist with NEUSHA website for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and program expansion. Collect checks from districts for programming payment, complete deposit forms, and submit to School of Nursing budget manager. Create and submit W-9's and payments to speakers. Track signed speaker release forms for each program. Adapt existing Word document forms to fillable PDFs. Track program information (Evaluations, revenue per program, speaker evaluations).

Qualifications:
Associate's degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of professional administrative. Experience working in a student services department preferred, although solid administrative experience in a busy office setting will be considered.

Technical skills: Must be proficient with advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, and competent in using office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax. Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft One Drive, Banner or Salesforce would be a plus.

Organization skills: Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize with multiple tasks and can work independently. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, a hands-on approach, project management and the ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success.

Interpersonal skills: Should possess excellent communications skills, including verbal and written with editing experience.
