Visiting Assistant Professor of Statistics

Drake University, a private comprehensive university dedicated to quality teaching, seeks applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Statistics.  Start in August 2021.  Will be teaching a variety of courses in Statistics and Data Analytics that may incorporate R, SAS, or Excel.  Includes topics such as data visualization, probability, regression, and data mining.  Expected teaching load is three to four courses per semester. 

A Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related field at time of appointment is required.  Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD.  All candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching.
