Assistant/Associate Professor, Communications

Job Summary:

Georgia Southwestern State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in Communication beginning Fall 2021.

The candidate will teach a variety of courses in the Communication degree program based on program needs and in accordance with specialization; participate in research and scholarly activities; provide academic advising to students as assigned; engage in service to the department, University and profession.  Candidates should have an interest in curriculum and program development. Experience or interest in emerging media and experience teaching face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Communication or closely related field by the time of appointment.
