Chapman University and Dodge College of Film and Media Arts seek applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in producing in its nationally recognized Dodge College of Film and Media Arts beginning August 2021.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have teaching experience and significant professional experience in producing in the areas of production and production management with experience at a major, mini-major or independent television and/or film production company. Secondarily, knowledge of the business aspects of pre-production and development will be included as well as experience. While a terminal degree is preferred, equivalent professional experience will be considered.

 

Responsibilities

Faculty duties include teaching, oversight of the Advanced Production projects, academic advising, and service to Dodge College and Chapman University. The teaching load is 18-21 credits per academic year, in addition to continued professional work and/or research and scholarship.
