About the College/Department:
The School of Business has a strong and growing AACSB accredited program in Global Supply Chain Management and is seeking to employ a tenure track faculty member to assist in the continued expansion of the program.


Position Summary:
The School of Business at Eastern Kentucky University, an AACSB accredited school, has an opening for a tenure-track Management position with an emphasis in Global Supply Chain Management at the Assistant/Associate level beginning August 2021. The primary responsibility for the candidate will be teaching undergraduate management courses including operations management, supply chain management courses, and possibly management science to a diverse range of students. Excellence in, and a commitment to, teaching are essential; and active research, publication, and public service are also required. An earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) in Management, Supply Chain Management is required.


Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree in business or a closely related discipline, and will have at least five years of full-time professional work experience in supply chain management, preferably at the executive level. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, preferably with teaching experience, and an emerging research focus in the supply chain. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills. Participation in service activities with students and student organizations, as well as interaction with industry professionals is also expected.


Desired Qualifications:
  • University level teaching experience.
  • Executive level experience in supply chain management.
