The University of Dayton Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering invites qualified applicants to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. Candidates with a commitment to innovative teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be expected to work closely with a diverse population of students and engage in service to the University, profession and community. Successful candidates are expected to develop an externally funded research program. All relevant chemical engineering research areas will be considered with the expectation that the candidate’s program will extend or complement current research efforts at the University of Dayton. This position will start on August 16, 2021.

All candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field by July 15, 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering; demonstrated research experience in chemical, materials or bioengineering with a vision for future research growth; excellent written communication skills; an articulated commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and a demonstrated commitment to understanding and promoting inclusive excellence.  For a complete listing of the preferred qualifications and required documents, please see the position at: https://employment.udayton.edu/cw/en-us/job/498268/assistant-professor-department-of-chemical-and-materials-engineering.
