Assistant Director of Operations and Compliance


Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Director of Operations and Compliance (Student Services Program Coordinator II) in Financial Aid and Scholarships.


Duties include, but are not limited to: conducting internal audits of financial aid activities such as loan processes, federal, state and institutional awarding, proper retention of necessary documents, cash management processes, satisfactory academic progress, cost of attendance, return of Title IV funds and verification. Assist with processing in such areas, as needed. Qualified candidates must possess detailed knowledge of federal aid regulations. This position is also responsible for collecting data for audit requests, coordinating updates to policies and procedures, compliance in enrollment reporting, and attendance/presentations at on and off campus events.


Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and experience in student services is required.  Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in federal financial aid is preferred.  Outstanding oral, written, organizational and analytical skills are required. Attendance at Financial Aid workshops is required. Requires work at times in the processing cycle beyond 37.5 hours per week. Minimal overnight travel, some nights and weekends will be required.
