The Xiao lab is currently recruiting for a postdoctoral associate position. Dr. Xiao and his lab mainly uses C. elegans as the model organism to study the genetic and molecular mechanisms on how environmental factors modulate animal aging. In particular, the functions of sensory system in the environmental modulation of aging process will be vigorously investigated. To address these questions, multidisciplinary approaches including molecular genetics, protein biochemistry, behavioral analysis, calcium imaging, and electrophysiology will be applied. Postdoctoral candidates with strong background in any of these fields are encouraged to apply.

PhD in a relevant field.
