Works in conjunction with the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life.  Serves as the primary advisor to either the College Panhellenic Council (CPC), Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) their committees, individual chapters, and individual members.  Oversees the general administration of the Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) community with the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life, and will oversee and coordinate additional programmatic and advisement efforts within the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life, including, but not limited to: Title IX/Hazing Education, Fraternity & Sorority Life awards process and program, the Student Leadership Conference, assessment, marketing, and communications.  Assists the Fraternity & Sorority  Life team in the planning of leadership retreats, implementation of the departmental strategic plan, execution of marketing and communication efforts, and is expected to serve on university committees as requested.  Reports directly to the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life and serves as the department’s leader in the Director’s absence.

Assists and advises the executive members with all programming, training, and initiatives. Advises individual chapters on areas of particular concerns.  Advises recruitment counselors and works in conjunction with Enrollment Management on recruitment events.

Develops and presents educational programs for the FSL Community and individual chapters.  Programs include, but are not limited to alcohol/drug education, new member education, recruitment workshops, leadership development, time management, fiscal responsibility, community relations, and civic engagement.  Coordinates the FSL awards process and program.  Coordinates, in collaboration with other departments, the annual campus Student Leadership Conference. 

Assists the FSL Life team in the planning and execution of all leadership retreats, programs, and community-wide initiatives.

Assists in the development and maintenance of FSL Life marketing and communications including, but not limited to:  the websites, social media outlets, and printed materials.  Serves as a primary recruitment software administrator/educator for FSL.

Assists Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life with the supervision of any student employees, interns, practicum students, and graduate assistants in the department.

Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life, the Assistant Vice President for Student Life, and the Vice President of Student Affairs.
