Department of Economics Tenured Associate or Full Professor

The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenured (Associate or Full Professor) position. This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field.  The individual hired in this position will hold the Jerry Semler Chair in Economics. The chair endowment will provide significant resources for research and summer support.

The Department of Economics, located in the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, has a long tradition of excellence in research and teaching.  Economics faculty members are leaders in their respective fields.  The Economics department offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Requirements and Application

This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field.  We seek applications from established researchers who have achieved distinction in empirical policy-relevant research.

The position is a full-time, academic-year appointment. The appointment will begin August 2021.
