Visiting Assistant Professor, Anthropology

Position Summary:

The Department of Anthropology at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology position beginning in August 2021. The position is renewable for a second year contingent on performance and college need.

We seek applicants whose area of research specialization is Afro-Latin America and/or the Caribbean or indigenous Latin America and the Caribbean. Applicants must be able to teach Language, Culture and Society; other possible courses to teach might include Foundations of Latin American and Caribbean Culture and Society, Cultural Anthropology, and elective courses related to their specialty, in addition to courses for Rollins’ general education program. We seek applicants who share our commitment to community engagement and social justice.

Applicants must have PhD in hand by September 1, 2021. Teaching experience is preferred.
